What is XIRR?
Calculates the internal rate of return for cash flows with irregular dates.
Syntax
=XIRR(values, dates, [guess])
Example
Formula: =XIRR(B2:B6, A2:A6)
Result: 15.24%
How It Works
Returns the annualized IRR accounting for actual dates of cash flows. More accurate than IRR for real investments.
